This collection grew from restorative walks across my local fields of Charnwood in Leicestershire. With each footstep, I would often find myself wondering about those who had taken the same path in years gone by. My eyes would often be drawn to fragments, revealed for the first time thanks to the changing weather or farming. Incorporating texture and pigment from found materials, these pieces are rooted in place. Placing discovered fragments at the heart of each composition, the pieces tell the tale of history beneath your feet.
